Makeup Artists James Vincent and Jon Hennessey are set to put their mark on the runway trends seen this season at NYFW
NEW YORK, NY (January 2013) – The Makeup Show artists will be taking their talents backstage during New York Fashion Week. Celebrity Makeup Artists James Vincent and Jon Hennessey come together backstage to put their mark on the latest beauty trends for the coming season. Following the shows, The Makeup Show will continue to be a resource for what’s hot and will be bringing these artists and trends to a show near you. Each fashion show will be sponsored by brands you can also find at The Makeup Show’s including Embryollise USA, Cult Nails, Kevyn Aucoin Beauty and AOFM Pro.
The Makeup Show Director of Artists Relations and Education, Celebrity Makeup Artist James Vincent makes his mark with some of the most exciting designers of the season bringing his eye for detail and design. Set to key many shows this season, James continues to show the artistry, inspiration, and The Makeup Show what he has become known for. Celebrity Makeup Artist and The Makeup Show Educator Jon Hennessey will also be backstage showing his work on the runway. As a Celebrity Artistworking in all areas of the Industry and owner of NOBASURA agency, Jon’s work can be seen on countless red carpets and runways around the world.
James Vincent will be kicking off the season with Suzanne Rae’s fashion show sponsored by Kevyn Aucoin on February 6 and then continue on with shows at Style360, February 11 – 13, where he will be working his talent backstage with Jon Hennessey on a line-up of high profile fashion shows and celebrities, including YARNZ, Tumbler & Tipsy by Michael Kuluva, Ashton Michael, FrontRow, Boy Meets Girl by Stacy Lgel, and Le Smurfette curated by Lois Sakany &Sami Grand-Pierre. James and Jon will be working with each of these designers to bring an individual sense of makeup to each collection and will bring the vision to life on the runway using Kevyn Aucoin Beauty, AOFM PRO, Embryollise USA and Cult Nails.
But that’s not all! The Makeup Show is calling all makeup artists to have a chance to be a part of these shows by signing up for Work the Runway: Exclusive Hands-On Workshop hosted by James Vincent and Jon Hennessey on Saturday, February 9 from 10am to 6pm at Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC. This is a must attend workshop for The Makeup Show as both James and Jon will beoffering insight into the real behind the scenes happenings and bringing you through some of the fashion week challenges.
